Socks wear out faster than any other article of clothing and are the least donated but NUMBER ONE clothing need of the homeless

After many years of working within diverse communities and witnessing the struggles of the genuine homeless, I took the opportunity to ask the question, "how can I help", "what do you need".

 

That was 2015.

 

To my amazement it was socks. Cold wet feet will speed the onset of hypothermia, cause foot rot and infections that can kill those affected.

 

This was the beginning of the Shepherds Australia Annual Sock Drive for the Homeless.
